White Batts and Acoustic Foams absorb sound within a room
Pictured here is acoustic treament for a home theatre room. The sound in this room was very reverberant prior to Connect Multimedia installing White Batts and a Kliptex fabric stretching system.
White batts are a great acoustic treament product that is used to reduce the "echo" or reverberation in a given room. By reducing the reverb in a room, a sound system can have a great deal more focus and clarity. These batts absorb the sound in the room and stop it from bouncing around the room discoloring the sounscape. Fabric is then stretched over the batts with a Kliptex fabric stretching system and the batts can do their job, without being seen.
White Batts and Acoustic Foam go hand in hand with our Kliptex fabric stretching system.
In a home theatre environment, people often reach for the volume control when they can't quite hear what the actors are saying, most of the time turning up the sound adds more volume but less clarity. If the acoustics in the room were improved, the clarity of the music, speech and sound effects can be dramatically improved.

This video clip on the left is a great demonstration of before / after acoustic treatment was applied to this theatre room. It is not a simulation, this is really what the room sounded like before Connect Multimedia became involved in the project.
