Angel Step^® is a product that reduces footfall sounds travelling between floors in multi-level buildings.

This composite material comes in 600 x 600 tiles and can be laid onto any level flooring underneath carpet, tiles or wooden floorboards. The footfall sound is stopped from entering the structure of the building. This dramatically reduces the audible sound between floors in multi-level buildings.

Angel Step^® comprises an 8 mm layer of double needle punched polyester matting sandwiched between 4 kg/m² ‘visco-elastic’ polymer flexible noise barriers. This unique design provides maximum performance for minimum thickness combining an impact and vibration damping and sound absorber with a decoupled noise barrier.

The resilient polyester middle core layer absorbs impact energy and residual airborne noise from above and below, transforming wave vibrations into heat energy.

For concrete floors Angel Step® can be ordered without the bottom noise barrier.
