From an early age, Glenn Voyzey, the Founder and Company Director of Connect Multimedia, had a passion for electronics and sound equipment. That passion and his early tinkering ending up taking him around the world working on some of the largest AV projects in the world.

Glenn counts the audio infrastructure for the Sydney, Athens, Torino and Beijing Olympic Games in his credits as well as the ATP Masters Tennis Tour, 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cup and many other major broadcast events.

Over more than 22 years Glenn worked in this results-driven environment where even the smallest detail can make or break a project.

But the final eight years of travelling the world with months at a time away from his family wasn’t sustainable. Glenn identified an emerging market in home theatre. He took the leap to start Connect Multimedia… and it was a gamble that has paid off.

Over more than 15 years, Glenn and the Connect Multimedia team have become the Sunshine Coast’s smart home automation and audio-visual installation specialists. They combine global experience and a dedication to customer satisfaction to design solutions that deliver on quality, simplicity and reliability.

My international experience taught me that you always need a back up plan,” says Glenn. “If something fails then you should be able to easily implement a solution to still deliver the service. That has always stayed with me throughout my career. What we do isn’t just running cables through a house. We are also planning and programming the home. If there is a power outage people need confidence that they will still be able to open their garage door or get access to their entry keypad. We have the skills and capability to deliver that peace of mind.
